REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education & Experience (Option 1):
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis, including working with hospital clinical/claim and financial data, large databases, cost experience, and advanced use of tools such as Access and Excel.
• Education & Experience (Option 2):
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 10 years of healthcare finance or financial analysis experience, including working with hospital clinical/claim and financial data, large databases, and advanced data analysis using SQL, Access, and Excel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
• 1+ year of experience with healthcare contract management/reimbursement systems and knowledge of reimbursement methodologies.
• Proforma and Cost Accounting experience (highly preferred).
• Tableau expertise (strongly preferred).
• SQL experience (strongly preferred).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Decision Support Analyst to join our team in Grand Blanc, MI. This role provides critical financial and statistical analysis to assess the operational and financial impacts of management decisions and proposals. The ideal candidate will be experienced in healthcare finance, cost accounting, and working with large datasets to drive strategic business decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide analytical operations support using a variety of data sources.
• Analyze and interpret data to support informed management decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, develop proposals, and recommend program revisions.
• Assess cost control and cost management issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and assist in strategic and operational studies to improve system performance.
• Ensure reporting data integrity by verifying the accuracy of data.
• Support implementation of new financial and operational systems.
• Work with large datasets, extracting and analyzing data using multiple tools.
