Description Responsibility & Authority The Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing support to managers, engineers, supervisorsand customers by gathering, auditing and presenting accurate data. The Administrative Specialist gathers and analyzes project data, payroll data and data from layered process audits to establish and maintain policies, processes and procedures. The Administrative Specialist prepares various reports, charts and payroll data for customers and for management. With direction from managers, engineers and supervisors, the Administrative Specialist develops job aids, work instructions and project documents. The ability to work with others and alone is necessary. Administrative Specialists are required to grasp, walk and lift up to 30 lbs on occasion. Administrative Specialists typically work in a temperature controlled environment, but may be required to work in varying temperatures and in noisy production and warehouse environments. Hand/eye coordination is routinely required. Tools and/or Equipment Used Computers, telephone and general office equipment will be used as well as warehouse and production software. Education Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Work Experience At least 1 year of administrative and payroll experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment is required.
