Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.
The Administrative Specialist shall provide administrative services in support of the Office of the Executive Director for Force Resiliency Credentialing Program for Department of Defense (DoD) Prevention Workforce Training and Continuing Education Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including filing, records management, correspondence control and tracking, data entry, package assembly, and coordination.
  • Produce memoranda, reports, forms, spreadsheets, and similar materials with excellent proofreading for grammatical and spelling errors.
  • Prepare briefings, meeting minutes, weekly and monthly reports, program abstracts, summaries, and analysis as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings.
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents.
  • Provide direct administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Coordinate and assign email traffic for processing.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks on outgoing emails and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain an effective recordkeeping system.
  • Complete annual Chenega and DoD required trainings as required.
  • Record labor hours daily in the company’s timekeeping system as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • BA/BS preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative support or a related field required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Background check required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to produce memoranda, reports, forms, spreadsheets, and similar materials with excellent proofreading for grammatical and spelling errors is required.
  • Must have extensive knowledge, skills, and abilities utilizing Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Word programs.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to attend all customer meetings as requested.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
