Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Administrative Specialist, Senior Administrative Specialist, or Lead Administrative Specialist at our Montgomery County Yardwaste Facility located in Dickerson, MD. This position provides administrative support to the assigned facility and ensures the accuracy of correspondence and data flow throughout the Group and the Agency. Estimated Pay Range: Administrative Specialist: $45,666.23 - $62,791.65 Senior Administrative Specialist: $50,233.92 - $69,070.88 Lead Administrative Specialist: $60,782.49 - $83,575.93 Benefits: Health Insurance with choice of medical plan and prescription, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance options, along with flexible spending accounts 401K retirement savings program with generous agency match Paid vacation, personal and sick leave Eleven paid holidays per year Tuition assistance Minimum Requirements: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED, plus three (3) years to seven (7) years of administrative or professional experience. Classification Levels: Administrative Specialist – three years of administrative or professional experience Senior Administrative Specialist – five years of administrative or professional experience Lead Administrative Specialist – seven years of administrative or professional experience Note: Candidates may substitute completion of administrative, business management or financial courses for up to one (1) year of the required experience. This position will be open until filled.
