POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the daily operations of the NOHA. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in sports administration who want to gain broad experience in hockey governance, risk management, program coordination, and general administration. The successful candidate will work closely with hockey associations, coaches, trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and compliance with Hockey Canada requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary diploma preferred.
  • Open to recent graduates; no prior hockey administration experience required.
  • Experience in sports management, administration, or related fields considered an asset.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Adobe products is an asset.
  • Strong general computer skills; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Experience with database management is an asset.
