YOUR TEAM

IIT is seeking applications for one Administrative Supervisor candidate to be employed with the Office for Higher Education. The selected candidate will be involved both in administrative activities (e.g. establishing agreements with Universities, organizing events) and in the development and management of educational programmes, assisting the Manager in the following tasks.

  • Establishing and managing exchange and training programmes with Italian and international Universities; this focuses on – but is not limited to - undergraduate students and includes participation to the Erasmus+ programme.
  • Supporting the organization of the Alumni programme, in particular interacting with Alumni members and promoting the creation of thematic or local chapters.
  • Supporting existing staff of the Office in the drafting agreements with Universities and other educational institutions, and in the organization of payment schedules.
  • Supporting existing staff of the Office in the organization of events and in managing internal programmes (e.g. internal placements of PhD students).
  • Coordinating with other IIT offices and directions (e.g. technology transfer, communication) to set up a unified programme of training.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • PhD in a scientific discipline
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, and experience in interacting with international audiences.
  • Expertise with the main IT software packages; in particular advanced experience with spreadsheets and tools for statistical analysis
  • Experience in the field of communication, particularly in dissemination activities
  • Experience in financial planning for projects
  • Excellent time and priority management

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Good command of at least a second international language

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a challenging and international environment
