We are searching for an Administrative Supervisor in our Children Services Division at Prospect Center in Queensbury, NY. The Administrative Supervisor of Children’s Services provides support to the administrators of the Children’s Services Division. This support includes, but is not limited to: Managing all aspects of Paraprofessional and Administrative Assistant II staffing, monitoring Paraprofessional and Administrative Assistant II paid time off (PTO) requests to ensure NYSED staffing standards are met in all classrooms on a daily basis, monitoring requisite Paraprofessional certifications and enrolling staff in trainings as necessary, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure agency and regulatory compliance and responding accurately and timely to a high volume of employee questions and requests, within the incumbent’s scope of responsibilities. The incumbent needs an in depth understanding of the program such that they can provide proactive guidance in the interest of program quality, outside the realm of education. The incumbent operates almost autonomously and requires minimal supervision. Education and Experience Required: Associates degree in any field Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint At least 1 year of administrative and/or workplace management experience Education and Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in field of Education, Human Services, or Business Administration At least 1 year of administrative and/or workplace management in the field of education Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Workday At The Center for Disability Services, we don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support. Responsibilities
