Toronto MicroElectronics Inc. (TME) is a leading industrial computer design and manufacturing company located in Mississauga.
TME is involved in custom product design, custom modifications to standard products, as well as design and manufacturing of standard embedded computers for the OEM and System Integration markets worldwide.
We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Supervisor to add to our amazing team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Monitor workload of Administrative Assistants to ensure performance and compliance to company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Overseeing Event Management, Tradeshows, Travel Arrangements and Board Meetings.
  • Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
  • Supervise all activities related to vendor administration, payment processing, employee expense reporting, internal control compliance, and maintenance of the A/P sub-ledger
  • Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the current payables and billing processes; develop, implement, and communicate process improvements; streamline processes through systems and technology whenever possible; maintain documentation of all departmental procedures.
  • Supervise all activities related to customer administration, collection processes, customer Credit Checks, payment terms and Credit Limits, and maintenance of the A/R sub-ledger
  • Keep abreast of company policies and procedures and reviews systems, and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, and internal controls; Evaluates, Develops and recommends office procedures and practices to Executives.
  • Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; Monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
  • Maintains and improve workflows; Implement Cost Reductions; and Develop Reporting Procedures.
  • Provide Administrative Reports and other support as required by business needs
  • Resolves Administrative problems by analyzing data, and identifying resolutions.
  • Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast paced environment.
  • Act as main point of contact for Office related matters; Assist and support management with strategic goals and work closely with other team members (Accounting, HR, Sales Team, Service and Support Team)
  • Perform other related administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and implementation
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive supervisory experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required, proficient in the other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, completing work accurately and timely
  • Detail oriented, adaptable, with excellent problem solving skills
