CAU is looking for an organized, proactive Administrative Support Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being the go-to person for communication, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly SUMMARY:  The Administrative Support Coordinator is the main point of contact for the University. This position answers calls, greets visitors, and assists with general inquiries. As the first impression of the University, this team member must communicate professionally with students, staff, faculty, and guests. The role includes a variety of administrative tasks, recordkeeping, scheduling, and supporting daily operations and special events. Key Responsibilities: • Learn and understand California Aeronautical University’s history, programs, and services. • Welcome visitors, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate person or department. • Open and close the front desk area each day, ensuring all signage, cabinets, and utilities are in order for the day. • Answer and transfer phone calls quickly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer care. • Keep accurate records of calls and interactions to ensure consistent follow-up and service. • Schedule student appointments with staff, make follow-up calls, and update student records as needed. • Help organize and file documents, including maintaining and documenting receipts for Student Affairs purchases • Support the Shipping and Receiving Clerk by assisting with inventory and fulfilling University merchandise orders. • Help with mail and package handling as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned.
