McLennan is located one hour south of Peace River, two hours northeast of Grande Prairie and approximately 4 hours northwest of Edmonton. Reporting to North Zone Population and Public Health Area Manager, the Administrative Support III is the initial contact for community health clients and provides ongoing support in the framework of a positive lifetime relationship with public health. The Administrative Support III is responsible for performing reception, registration, and appointment booking functions; operating the switchboard, maintaining health records and processing care visit documentation; maintaining integrity of health records databases. Other clerical duties to support a range of programs and services provided in the Public Health Centre. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
