Your Opportunity:
Adult Community Services provides Addiction & Mental Health treatment to the residents of Edmonton and surrounding suburban areas. The ACS program adheres to the Principles of Care providing quality, client focused, recovery based, concurrent capable, culturally appropriate care to those seeking supports/services within Addictions & Mental Health. Services are offered to clients and their families in the least intrusive, most appropriate manner, and include assessment, individual and group treatment, and consultation. You will be the first point of contact clients have with the clinic and our services. You will provide a warm, welcoming environment whether in person or by telephone. This position is responsible for daily reception and involves working closely with and providing administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. The Admin III is responsible for processing high volumes of public and staff inquiries, both in-person and via telephone, and plays a key role on the team in terms of client engagement. The position requires strict adherence and sensitivity to confidentiality. The working environment is busy with many overlapping needs and demands throughout the day requiring flexibility, creativity, collaboration and the ability to multi-task effectively. Developing and supporting administrative relationships with RA staff, partners and multi-agency professionals is essential. Other duties as assigned may include, data collection, scheduling appointments, time entry, supply ordering, maintain work queues, document scanning and other related tasks. This role involves extended periods of sitting with repetitive hand movements, keyboarding, and telephone calls, with the ability to work in a busy, noisy work environment. An Admin III will have great interpersonal and administrative skills. Extensive knowledge of Connect Care is of significant benefit.
