Job Title: Admin Support
Location: Sunderland
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week Monday - Sunday.
Rota’d Shifts will include 08:00-17:00 , 17:00-22:00, 18:30 -Midnight 22:00- 08:00

YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Experience of working with the public.
· Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
· Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Providing a professional, comprehensive, and efficient administrative service, which is effectively delivered to all patients and members of staff within the Department. Answer telephone calls where required and taking messages for the IPCT and ensuring forwarding/communicating in a timely manner.
· Be first point of contact for patients, relatives and carers ensuring they are welcomed to the ward/department, (meet and greet), kept informed and generally dealt with in a helpful, friendly and courteous manner at all times
· Provide effective communication within the ward team and with bodies and agencies external to the ward environment
· Act as ward receptionist and answer telephone queries/use bleep system after consultation with Ward Manager / Co-ordinator and staff/relay messages as required
· Ensure outpatient and ward attender appointments are processed appropriately and in a timely fashion following agreed procedures
