Primary objective
The Administration Support Officer is responsible for providing professional, efficient, consistent and reliable level of administrative
support and assistance to the Offender Services and Programs unit at the Darwin and Alice Springs Correctional Centre either by face to
face or written correspondence whilst ensuring all prisoner information is managed and maintained in accordance with the departments
policies and legislative requirements.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide high quality administrative support this will include booking travel, scheduling of meetings and coordinating of special events,
preparation of program resources, reference materials and general correspondence as required to the Offender Services and Programs
unit.
2. Maintain the Offender Services and Programs resources and psychometric testing library, while retaining accurate and detailed record
keeping.
3. Provide assistance in the management of assessment and program waitlists within the Integrated Offender Management System
