Starting Salary at $55,000 per year Position Summary Independent Home Health is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to support daily administrative operations across billing, payroll, human resources, and compliance functions. This position plays an important role in maintaining organized workflows, supporting accurate documentation, and assisting multiple departments with operational tasks. The ideal candidate is a team player who is professional, adaptable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Essential Responsibilities Assist with billing preparation, claim review, and documentation tracking Support payroll processing and employee record maintenance Maintain accurate client and caregiver files in company systems Support compliance tracking, credential monitoring, and document collection Communicate with office staff regarding missing documentation, payroll items, or billing needs Perform data entry, reporting, and system updates across multiple platforms Assist leadership with administrative projects and operational support tasks Maintain confidentiality of employee, client, and company information Provide general office and administrative support as needed Qualifications Previous administrative, billing, payroll, HR, or office support experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Professional verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working with computer systems and Google Suite applications Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Dependable, professional, and adaptable in a changing work environment Preferred Experience Home care or healthcare administrative experience Familiarity with payroll, EVV, scheduling, or billing systems Experience with onboarding, recruiting support, or employee file management Knowledge of Medicaid, insurance, or healthcare billing processes Experience handling confidential records and compliance documentation Experience with Workers Compensation Claims and Unemployment Compensation Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full-time hybrid schedule Health and PTO benefits Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement
