Job Description :
Champlain College Lennoxville is seeking the services of an Administrative Support Agent, Class I, to work on a full-time, replacement contract, in the office of the Dean of Student Services within the adapted services department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A diploma of vocational studies (DEP) with an appropriate specialty or a secondary school diploma (DES), or a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority and have at least 1 year of experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Great attention to detail;
  • Show confidentiality;
  • Bilingual (advanced knowledge of French and English - written and spoken);
  • Decision-making ability to organize work priorities using efficient time management while ensuring student needs;
  • Ability to work autonomously, in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must be competent with Windows environment and MS Office Suite (mainly Word and Excel).
Responsibilities
  • Assures the day-to-day running of the adapted services exam room;
  • Assures the day-to-day running of the tutoring services;
  • Provides administrative support to the adapted services counsellor;
  • Helps with organization and coordination of the work assignments of the proctors and tutors and the processing of their time sheets in the system;
  • Perform administrative tasks relating to the support of current students;
  • Plays a pivotal role in the organization of the final exam period for adapted services;
  • Provides regular (weekly) reports to the adapted services counsellor and the Dean of Student Services on the status of services offered including statistical reports and others;
  • Perform all other related duties, as requested by the Dean of Student Services.
