Description POSITION: Administrative Support Staff, School Age Childcare Program REPORTS TO: Unit Director HOURS OF WORK: Part Time, 20 hours per week WORK STATUS: Non-Exempt The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is a nonprofit, charitable, educational organization recognized as a leading advocate for youth development, working to help youth of all backgrounds. Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to become responsible, productive, and caring citizens. We provide girls and boys with effective diverse programs and services; and demonstrate that caring adults can truly help young people grow into contributing human beings with the necessary skills for living. Reporting to the Unit Director, the Administrative Support Staff will assist with admissions paperwork, auditing of member files, attendance, billing and coordinating events. Occasionally assisting in program coverage for children ages 5 -13. Additional responsibilities include complying with EEC regulations. Position is on-site, 20 hours per week, 1:30pm-5:30pm during the school year and 10am-2pm during Worcester Public Schools closures. Responsibilities include: Admissions and discharge paperwork processing Maintain accurate rosters for all enrolled participants Maintaining and auditing member files Daily/weekly/monthly attendance reporting Monitor voucher expiration and approval Assist with Monthly Voucher and Weekly Parent Billing Coordinate and administer BON meal program, including all necessary paperwork, as well as meal distribution. Assistance with any licensing, EEC or BGCA reporting. Coordinate events – Open houses, orientations for new participants, etc. Assist in coverage for programming if needed. Requirements Qualifications and Skills: Education: High School Diploma 1-3 years in an office environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with billing or accounts receivables preferred Bilingual preferred (Spanish & English) but not required. All applicants will be required to pass a criminal offender record information check (CORI), a national background check and will need to be fingerprinted in accordance with EEC regulations.
