JOB SUMMARY

The Administrative Support Supervisor is responsible for leading the administrative support team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals. This position assists in developing and evaluating administrative processes and procedures, training, leads and motivates team members, and ensures compliance with company standards. The Administrative Support Supervisor also performs daily clerical and billing tasks, manages insurance claims and patient accounts, and supports the organization in delivering excellent service to patients and providers.

Responsibilities
  • Uphold and model the company’s core values.
  • Perform all duties of Administrative Support team members, including receptionist and insurance specialist roles, while training, supervising, and motivating staff across various locations.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of organizational workflows and how the administrative support department contributes to company success.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop departmental goals and effectively communicate them to administrative support staff.
  • Assist in developing departmental budgets, review expense and billing reports, and ensure accuracy before submission to accounts payable.
  • Maintain employee records, manage staff schedules, and report timecard details to payroll.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with leaders across other departments or locations.
  • Review, enhance, and ensure the implementation of front desk, billing, and checkout procedures; conduct training as needed.
  • Oversee insurance claims processing, patient account resolution, and collection activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain positive relationships with insurance companies, credit agencies, and external healthcare providers, particularly regarding referrals, claims, and billing inquiries.
  • Participate in leadership training and professional development; occasional travel is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or modified by the company.
