POSITION DETAILS
The University of Lethbridge is seeking a full-time, Temporary position as an Administrative Support.
Within Graduate Studies and Research in Education (Faculty of Education), this position serves as the main point of contact for faculty and graduate students, triaging and responding to inquiries from students, faculty and staff. It is responsible for tracking graduate students’ culminating activities (thesis and projects), overseeing graduate assistantship contracts and payments, ensuring completion of practicum requirements, creating and maintaining the file management system, and organizing and supporting retention initiatives (such as student orientations, transition through program, and culminating activities).
In addition, this position provides support for the Associate Dean Graduate Studies and Research in Education related to the research portfolio by liaising with research partners within the education system, and by supporting the Faculty of Education’s Research Advisory Committee.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of experience.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, work in a team, computer proficiency, positive attitude.
