InsureLine Brokers (Clear Cut) is a leader in Auto, Home, Business and Travel insurance. We are currently looking for a career-minded Administrative & Underwriting/Quality Control Assistant to join our diverse and inclusive team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Superior work ethic with high level of integrity, professionalism and reliability
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Proficient in data entry and file management
- Proficient in using Microsoft Windows and MS applications (Word, Excel, Outlook email, etc.)
- Previous experience in an insurance office is an asset
- Underwriting assistant experience is an asset
- Able to work with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to staff members/brokers and ensure smooth operation of the branch
- Backup reception as required from time to time (i.e., answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers and staff/brokers, etc.)
- Greet walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle/process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Handle email inquiries
- Process payments and issue invoices
- Process insurance documents
- Perform administrative duties such as photocopying/scanning, filing, and data entry
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with organizing meetings and events
- Assist supervisors on various projects (such as underwriting audit/quality control projects), etc.
