InsureLine Brokers (Clear Cut) is a leader in Auto, Home, Business and Travel insurance. We are currently looking for a career-minded Administrative & Underwriting/Quality Control Assistant to join our diverse and inclusive team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Superior work ethic with high level of integrity, professionalism and reliability
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in data entry and file management
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Windows and MS applications (Word, Excel, Outlook email, etc.)
  • Previous experience in an insurance office is an asset
  • Underwriting assistant experience is an asset
  • Able to work with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to staff members/brokers and ensure smooth operation of the branch
  • Backup reception as required from time to time (i.e., answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers and staff/brokers, etc.)
  • Greet walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Handle/process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Handle email inquiries
  • Process payments and issue invoices
  • Process insurance documents
  • Perform administrative duties such as photocopying/scanning, filing, and data entry
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Assist with organizing meetings and events
  • Assist supervisors on various projects (such as underwriting audit/quality control projects), etc.
