JOB POSTING: ADMINISTRATIVE VICTIM SERVICES WORKER – RAVEN’S NEST

Location: Duncan, BC
Hourly Wage: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
Hours: 32 to 37.5 hours per week, as funding allows
Start Date: ASAP

About Raven’s Nest
Raven’s Nest is a Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) located in the Cowichan Valley, supporting children and youth who have experienced or witnessed violence. We offer integrated services that reduce systemic barriers for young victims and their non-offending family members as they navigate complex justice and social systems. Raven’s Nest is one of approximately 50 CYACs across Canada, working in partnership with police, child protection, health, and victim services to provide trauma-informed, wraparound care.
About the Role
The Administrative Victim Services Worker plays a key role in coordinating Raven’s Nest and ensuring children, youth, and families receive seamless, compassionate support. This position combines client-facing work with administrative leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery and inter-agency collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant post-secondary education and at least 5 years of related experience, or a combination of education and equivalent training.
  • Proven experience supporting children, youth, or families impacted by trauma or abuse.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian criminal justice system and trauma-informed practices.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Valid First Aid certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
