JOB SUMMARY

We are a dynamic and fast-paced wholesale and importing business specializing in fresh produce. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrator with Accounts experience to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide support in operational and financial efficiency of the business and will ensure that administrative and accounts tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and effectively
This role requires proficiency in clerical duties, data entry, and familiarity with various software applications, including Excel, and QuickBooks etc.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, possess excellent phone etiquette, strong organizational skills, experience in accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in administration, accounts administration, preferably in fresh product sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. xero, quickbooks) and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills and organisational skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date administrative records and financial records.
  • Managing accounts receivable and payable
  • Ensure smooth financial operations by managing invoices, credit notes and statements efficiently
  • Coordinate with customs, freight companies and transport, whilst organizing goods in and out
  • Coordinating with suppliers and customers
  • Manage & process invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain organized records and files for easy retrieval of information.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer orders being made
  • Handle incoming calls professionally, either with customers regarding accounts and orders or directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with sales, warehouse and logistic teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Complete other office administrative tasks
