JOB SUMMARY
The Administrator, Business Affairs assists and works within the Business Affairs and Legal team. This position will work closely with the Director to ensure expeditious, accurate data entry of contract details and uploading of documents to Nettwerk’s proprietary Rights Management System (Nettwerk Central). They will assist with the management of our copyrights through our publishing registration processes and licensing processes.

EXPERIENCE
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Positive, enthusiastic and collaborative attitude
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- At least 2 years experience in an office environment
- Experience reading and interpreting legal agreements an asset
- Experience or knowledge of organizational and communication systems such as; Trello, Slack, Google Drive, Box.com, DocHub, etc.
- Knowledge of copyright, mechanical licensing, and music industry agreements an asset
- Prior experience in the music industry or related legal/business affairs/administration and asset

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vancouver, BC V6J 1H
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Agreement Execution: Work closely with department leads to manage the execution of various supplemental agreements.
- Data Entry: Assist in the accurate input of agreements, licenses, and other legal and contractual information into company databases and maintain up-to-date records and file management.
- Agreement Tracking: Monitor and track the status of contracts, licenses, and other legal documents, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
- Client Communication: Follow up with clients for missing documentation as needed (e.g. Letters of Direction, payee information). Serve as an additional point of contact for clients regarding the status of various supplemental agreements and licenses, responding promptly to inquiries and providing updates as needed.
- Publishing Administration: Work with Sr. Manager tracking song registrations, publishing inquiries and resolutions on registration issues, as applicable
- Mechanical Licensing Administration: work with Sr. Manager in processing mechanical licenses for the label including; Timely execution of mechanical licensing paperwork for US and Canada releases through direct licensing to publishers, Harry Fox, CMRRA and SODRAC; Research publisher shares, names and contact information; revise existing licenses with publisher changes; Work with the Royalties team to ensure licenses are input in the royalty system in a timely manner; communicate with the Production team to ensure writer and publisher information in internal information systems is up to date and accurate.
- Other Duties as Needed: Provide additional support to the legal and business affairs teams as required
