TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in administrative roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in Construction or Industrial Administration; strong knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and document management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment.SAP proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE

The Project Administrator is responsible for overseeing project documentation, coordinating schedules, logistics, and subcontractor mobilization, and assisting with project tracking. They report to the Manager - Tailings Construction, but have strong functional relationships with the Construction Superintendent and Project Engineer.
Our Red Chris operation is now recruiting for the position of Project Administrator with a competitive base salary between $71,000 to $88,000 dependant on experience, skills, and qualifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Organize and document project meetings and associated action registers.
  • Maintain personnel schedules, timesheets, and training records for Newmont TIA personnel.
  • Maintain the document management system and support responsible personnel in keeping documents up to date.
  • Coordinate lodging and travel for Newmont personnel and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate supply of goods and consumables for the construction program.
  • Support contractor kickoff/mobilization
  • Assist the Project Controller in managing invoices, and processing payments.
  • Support site-wide administrative capacity as required
