Depaul Housing wishes to recruit to the following role:
Housing Administrator
Hybrid / Dublin
Part time
16 hours per week for 2 months (extendable)
15.80 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an efficient and proactive individual to join our team as a Part-Time Housing Administrator. This temporary role will last for 2 months and will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth housing operations. The successful candidate will handle document storage, housing inquiries, and document signing.
Responsibilities
1. Document Storage
Property Documents:
Receive and organise documents related to property acquisitions from solicitors.
Save these documents into the appropriate property folders.
Regularly update property records with new information.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate filing.
Complex Management Documents:
Receive documents from management companies of apartment complexes.
These documents may include annual accounts, budgets, AGM notices, agendas, and meeting minutes.
File and organise these documents systematically.
Notify tenants of any relevant information impacting them (e.g., parking permits, maintenance schedules, fire inspections).
2. Housing Enquiries
Email Correspondence:
Respond to housing inquiries received via email.
Review each case and provide appropriate advice based on the individual’s circumstances.
Direct applicants to relevant authorities (e.g., DRHE, local housing departments, IPAS) as needed.
Maintain a professional and empathetic tone in all communications.
Streamline responses by creating standardised templates for common inquiries.
Monitor the generic Depaul Housing email address for incoming inquiries.
3. Document Signing
Travel and Coordination:
Occasionally travel to other counties for document signing purposes.
Coordinate with relevant parties to schedule appointments.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of necessary paperwork.
If the administrator has a valid driver’s license, they can drive to facilitate document signing.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

Familiarity with housing-related processes and terminology.
