Hartley People Recruitment are seeking an Administrator to join our client’s team in Waterford. Our client, a busy multi-franchise automotive dealership is seeking a professional and customer-focused individual. This dual-role position involves front-of-house reception duties and a range of administrative responsibilities supporting sales and aftersales departments. The ideal candidate will be organised, approachable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in an administrative or reception role is desirable.
  • Automotive industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g. MS Office).
  • Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers as they arrive for appointments.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct queries to the correct departments.
  • Maintain a professional and tidy reception and showroom area.
  • Handle vehicle taxation and registration administration.
  • Support the preparation and documentation of used vehicles for sale.
  • Update and maintain demonstration vehicle logs.
  • Compile and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform general administrative duties as required by management.
