FURTHER DETAILS/PŪROKO

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) position, based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is $63,508 to $68,185. Top of the range is $73,640.
We are also seeking candidates for Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions, which support the implementation of our Māori Strategic Framework. The salary range for this role of $69,931 to $74,609. Top of the range $80,285.

Responsibilities

The Dunedin School of Medicine are seeking a capable and motivated Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support to the Department of Surgery and Critical Care.
This is a varied and rewarding role working closely with the Head of Department, academic staff, and administrative colleagues. You will support a range of teaching, operational, and departmental activities, such as coordinating teaching assessment events, managing, and recording student results, and preparing data analysis reports for academic staff and stakeholders.

Other operational tasks will include:

  • Diary management.
  • Triaging email correspondence.
  • General secretarial support.
  • Booking travel and accommodation.
  • Processing transactional finance.
  • Supporting Human Resources processes.
