LTACH billing rules are complex and require a unique skill set with the ability to navigate complicated billing scenarios. This position will be responsible for working with the hospital EHR implementation team to establish an entirely new billing structure for the hospital. Must have extensive knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Rules and Regulations. 3 to 5 years of hospital revenue cycle management in an LTACH environment is preferred. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general supervision of a superior with wide latitude for the exercise of initiative and independent judgement; work is reviewed through conferences and written reports for conformance to policies, guidelines and professional standards. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Plans, coordinates and reviews supervisory, professional, technical and other staff engaged in program activities.
