Innovating today, Leading tomorrow.” Functional Description: Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions within the organization, including contracts, facilities planning, finance, logistics, property management, purchasing and/or security. Performs tasks to control and track government property assigned to the PMA. Provides information technology support to set up, move, and maintain workstations including all connections, support audio and visual equipment and their connections for SVTC, VTC, and telephonic systems. Participates in facilities planning activities, including coordinating the storage and movement of furniture, systems, and equipment. May maintain databases, analyze data, and develop reports. Participates in special projects as required. Duties and Responsibilities: As a Junior Administrator, you are responsible for providing on-site support delivering administrative and analytical project support to the Operations Department in support of the strategic airborne command post aircraft program office. The position would be responsible directly to the Head of Operations in managing all aspects of information technology equipment including workstations, desktop network switching devices, and teleconference systems for operational readiness and compliance with security standards. Support physical security and facility operations management. Specific tasks include: Provides support for conference room technology, such as projectors, speakerphones, and webcams, and their ability to support meetings using collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams. Provides desk-side support to install, move, and maintain workstations, switches, troubleshoot issues, and escalate and coordinate concerns with IT staff. Effectively communicates (oral and writing) with customers. Facilitates communication between the department and teammates. Provides initial IT support or escalates calls to appropriate system support teams. Assists IT Staff with projects and workload, and performs project functions when required. Conducts facilities planning activities, including coordinating the storage and movement of furniture, systems, and equipment. Maintains databases, analyzes data, and develops reports. Supports physical security functions such as reviewing and updating security logs and associated databases. Supports the preparation of detailed and accurate technology and internal office supply purchase requests; includes tracking, monitoring, and status reporting of technology purchases. Maintains compliance with the US Government security regulations and directives. Participates in compliance assessment reviews and perform self-inspections to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements. Identifies deficiencies and implement corrective action. Required Experience: One or more years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description. Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to waist height on occasion, route cabling through cubes and on the floor, and be sufficiently mobile to access facility systems. Desired Experience: Proficient in Microsoft products - Outlook, Excel, Word, TEAMS. Experience in setting up and maintaining secure video conferencing systems. Experience using IBONS, MAXIMO, Seating Tools, and ESAMS. An understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM and DoDI 5200.48 security standards and policies. Education Requirements: BA/BS degree or supplemental experience is required.
