The role | Te mahi We are looking for an outstanding, highly organised administrator who thrives on being at the centre of activities and keeping complex operations running smoothly. In this role, you will be the administrative backbone of Te Whai Ao – The Dodd‑Walls Centre (DWC), supporting the Director, Programme Manager, researchers, and wider DWC team. Working across multiple priorities, you’ll connect people and processes to help the Centre run smoothly and effectively. Your key areas of responsibility will include: • Centre‑wide administrative support and coordination, including responding to enquiries and acting as a welcoming first point of contact. • Financial and operational administration, such as purchasing, invoicing, PCard management, and coordinating local processes like recruitment, inductions, and onboarding. • Communication, meetings, and logistics, including preparing newsletters, providing end‑to‑end meeting support, and planning travel and related logistics. About our team | Mō te tīma The Divisional Services and Administration team is a group of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all of the University’s internal and external customers. Further details | Pūroko This is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) position, located in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. The appointment range for this role is $63,508 to $68,185 per annum. Top of the range is $73,640. We are also seeking candidates for Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions, which support the implementation of our Māori Strategic Framework.
