A vacancy has arisen for an Administrator to join the East Kent Acute wards supporting ward manager, ward consultant, and staff
This role would be working from Foxglove Ward, with the need to support meetings and team days where applicable. It will also support general ward staff needs such as ordering staff uniforms among many other things
The successful candidate will need to be a self-motivated, dynamic, forward-thinking, and flexible administrator due to the contact demands on the ward
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent, and will have strong customer service skills, a professional and confident telephone manner, good organisational and keyboard skills. Some experience working in the healthcare industry particularly the NHS would be advantageous. Similarly, document typing would be an advantage.
The post holder will also have some degree of responsibility in managing job tasks for their band 2 colleague.
You will require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.

Responsibilities

Preparing Agendas for meetings.
Minuting meetings.
Diary management.
Supporting senior staff with administrative duties
Other varied admin tasks will be identified as the team/role evolves
