Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with HR, Finance, Property Services, Head Office and the Quality & Governance Team to ensure the timely and accurate provision of information and data as and when needed.
  • Supporting the finance department with billing, petty cash, invoicing and other finance related tasks.
  • Provide focused administrative support, assisting the site management team in completing processes including but not limited to pay-roll, finance, recruitment, rota planning, managing training records and ensuring HR records are in good order.
  • Support with the internal and external communications strategy and implementation including ‘Swanton News’ newsletter and annual reports.
  • You will be involved in supporting with ad hoc and on-going projects within the region.
  • Work with regional colleagues in the organisation of internal and external events such as regional events and away days, staff meetings, family meetings and work with others to organize Swanton’s participation in recruitment fairs and promotional events, attending and playing a full and positive part when requested.
  • Coordinate regional meetings from collating and sending out papers to minute taking as required.
  • Completion of audit processes as required to meet the needs of the business.
  • Assist in the collation, preparation and presentation of monthly regional reports.

About you
To be successful in the role of Administrator it is essential that you have a minimum of a Level 3 in English and significant experience within an administrative role, it is desirable to have previous experience within the care sector. You will also need to be able to work under you own initiative, priorities your workload and adapt accordingly.
You will be required to have exceptional organisational skills and be advanced IT skills in packages such as Microsoft Office and experience of Access software or other business information systems is also required.
As you will be required to travel between the different services it is essential you are able to travel within the regions and have access to transport.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you have previous experience within a fast paced administration role with dynamic responsibilities?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Administrator to join the Swanton team based in Kingston Upon Hull who will provide an efficient and effective customer focused service and administrative support within Swanton’s operating region.
Job title: Administrator
Location: This is a remote role with travel may be required based on the needs of the Learning & Development team.
Hours: 20 hours per week, over 5 days.
