JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, and detail-oriented Administrator to provide essential support across our business. This is a varied administrative role covering a wide range of responsibilities including diary management, reporting, document preparation, event coordination, and record keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy administrative position, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative role.
· Strong IT literacy, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse at all
levels across the business
· Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
· Willingness to occasionally travel to support events and other UK sites (expenses
covered).

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to managers and teams across the business.
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel where required.
  • Draft and format documents, letters, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain and update filing systems (electronic and paper-based).
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
  • Support recruitment administration, including reference checks and onboarding paperwork.
  • Assist with induction processes for new starters and maintain leavers’ records.
  • Prepare and maintain sickness, absence, and timekeeping reports.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of monthly business data reports.
  • Take accurate notes at meetings (e.g., management, task force, or employee relations).
  • Assist with the maintenance of training records and annual appraisal documentation.
  • Update company documents, including employee handbooks and job descriptions.
  • Organise workwear distribution and equipment where required.
  • Represent the company at schools, colleges, careers fairs, and community events.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to projects and initiatives as directed by managers.
