YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

· Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative position.
· Must demonstrate Admin/Secretarial knowledge
· Excellent inter-personal, communication and organisational skills.
· Ability to use own initiative and work under direction.
· Excellent organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

· Providing a comprehensive administrative support to the clinical staff and managers, including management of correspondence, typing of reports, letters etc.
· Carrying out general reception duties, including checking in patient details, answering the telephone, ordering ambulances, arranging interpreter services, legal administrative duties/invoices and dealing with routine enquiries etc.
· Receiving expected and unexpected visitors to the department and assist them as necessary to ensure their comfort and the completion of their business in the department. This will include staff from health services and other agencies and external visitors.
· Registration and referring of patient details, including data collection and inputting on the clinical system (TPP). To manage the medical records and register of patient medical notes and to maintain an up-to-date register of the current population ensuring admission transfer and discharge information follows the patient pathway and report immediately to the managers any information that is missing.
· Maintaining the office organisation and support all clinical staff working in the department.
· Working effectively in providing multidisciplinary care, working with internal and external agencies.
