DESCRIPTION
Priory Caerlan is looking to recruit an Administrator to join the team. This is a part time 20 hours role.
Caerlan is located in Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynnon Taff, South Wales. Our home offers residential support for eight males and females who are autistic. The house is surrounded by countryside, a short distance from the town centre.
The town sits between the rivers Ely and Clun and derives its name from the three saints, St Illtyd, St Dyfonwg and St Gwynno, with ‘trisant’ meaning ‘three saints’. Here at Caerlan, we want all the people we care for to live happy, fulfilled lives, whilst doing the things they choose to do in a safe environment.
We can also support those who have:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our residents. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you’re assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
You can find additional information in the attached job description.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with strong English, numeracy, and excellent keyboard and PC skills, including basic proficiency in Word and Excel. They will have exceptional organisational, reception, and clerical abilities, with the confidence to prioritise their own work while referring complex issues to a manager. A flexible approach to problem solving is important, and previous experience in an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational, or similar setting is required.
