Role: Clinic-Based Administrator
Location: Sheffield (with flexibility to work across Hoyland and Parkgate)
Contract: Temporary — 6 months
Hours: 40 hours per week — early starts (from 7:30am), late finishes (until 8:00pm), and the occasional Saturday morning

DRIVING LICENCE PREFERRED

We’re not simply seeking someone to answer phones or tick boxes. We’re looking for you — someone who brings warmth, precision, and a touch of calm to busy days. Someone who understands that a kind word at reception can make all the difference, and that behind every appointment is a person who matters.
If you’re organised, unflappable, and quietly brilliant at keeping things running smoothly, we’d be delighted to welcome you to our non-clinical team.

SKILLS & STYLE

  • A confident communicator with a lovely telephone manner
  • Brilliant at prioritising and juggling tasks
  • Comfortable with IT systems and keen to learn
  • A team player who’s also happy working independently

What You’ll Bring: Experience & Know-How

  • A background in customer or patient service
  • Previous experience in healthcare (a bonus, not essential)
  • Solid administrative skills and a love of getting things righ
Responsibilities

You’ll be the first friendly face our patients encounter and the steady hand behind the scenes. Working across our Sheffield sites.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Welcoming patients and checking them in via our clinical system (TM3)
  • Answering calls with warmth and professionalism
  • Booking appointments and managing diaries
  • Uploading referrals and issuing discharge forms
  • Liaising with third-party partners to coordinate care
  • Preparing clinical rooms and supporting our physiotherapists
  • Opening and closing the clinic
  • Handling general administrative queries with tact and efficiency

This is a temporary 6-month position, ideal for someone who’s adaptable and eager to make a meaningful impact. The successful candidate will need to have flexibility to work across our Hoyland and Parkgate clinics, with shifts starting as early as 8:00am and finishing as late as 8:00pm. The average working day will be 8 hours, plus a 30-minute lunch break.

What You’ll Bring: Experience & Know-How

  • A background in customer or patient service
  • Previous experience in healthcare (a bonus, not essential)
  • Solid administrative skills and a love of getting things right
