ABOUT US

The NIAS Creative Campus offers pop up spaces for young people to turn their creative and entrepreneurial ideas into reality. We also operate a charity shop that sells furniture, clothing and homeware, whilst helping to furnish the homes of local residents with affordable furniture and a professional delivery service. The job will involve working from more than one site.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Two years or more of general accounting knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge on how to use different accounting programs. (e.g. Sage, Excel).
  • The ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English language
  • Flexibility to work weekends where required
    Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: £14.65-£16.99 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week

Responsibilities
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks
  • Track expenses and payroll
  • Submit reports on financial transactions
  • Keep records of expenses and financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, card statements and purchase receipts
  • Handle payroll & invoice processing
  • Supervise financial aspects of the Charity Shop
  • Supervise the work of volunteers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers both in person and via online communication.
