WHERE AND WHEN DO WE NEED YOU?

Due to exciting expansion, we are looking for an administrator to support the growth and development of our residential family centres in Southampton. Maple House is divided into 3 pods with 2 en-suite rooms in each, accommodating up to 6 families at any one time. Families will be referred to the Family Centre if there have been concerns identified around the safety of the children within their existing family unit. Once with us, the families will be continuously encouraged, assessed and guided through a 12 week stay where they are monitored 24/7 to encourage sustainable positive parenting changes.

Working as our administrator you will be involved in a range of exciting and rewarding things like:

  • Keeping everyone organised - Overseeing the day-to-day administration duties of the centre completing general administration duties, managing petty cash, ordering equipment, undertaking vehicle monitoring and ensuring that all staff and visitors are always welcomed and supported appropriately.
  • Demonstrating fantastic attention to detail - Supporting the Management Team of the centre with administration duties such as diary and meeting coordination, production and circulation of agendas and relevant papers, inbox management, meeting attendance and accurate minute taking and distribution.
  • Using your great communication skills – Working with the centre management team to ensure clear communication with any required third parties, internal and external. To aid and support the leadership team with rota management, recording of staffing usage and taking part in the recruitment process.
  • Compliance is key! – Providing ongoing monitoring and management of the training matrix for the centre’s staff teams and to complete monthly health and safety audits for the service. Supporting the management in updating and creating development plans as well as six monthly regulation 45 reports.
  • Ensuring a smooth start - Supporting new colleagues during their induction week and probation period offering training and information regarding general office tasks and the use of Internal systems and processes ensuring a smooth and informed start in their new roles.

Understanding the importance of working as part of a team maintaining a clean, tidy, and homely environment through effective role modelling, ensuring families are supported appropriately.
