ADMINISTRATOR SCHOOL OF EDUCATION (PART-TIME)

Job description
Leeds Trinity University is a renowned institution located in the heart of West Yorkshire, dedicated to providing a transformative educational experience. With a rich history dating back to 1966, we have grown into a dynamic and inclusive community that champions academic excellence, personal growth, and professional success. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, a supportive environment, and a strong sense of community, making it a great place for students and colleagues to thrive.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the School of Education, which delivers initial teacher training degrees and lifelong career progression for education professionals. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the university’s QTS programmes and continual professional development offer. The postholder will provide high quality, responsive and flexible support to the School of Education team which sits within the Faculty of Social Science and Education.
The role will require contact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and will be responsible for providing knowledgeable, efficient, and ‘customer focussed’ service to students, staff and our Teacher Education partnerships.
The successful candidate will have strong administrative, interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to demonstrate initiative, problem solving, a high level of accuracy and the ability to take decisions and prioritise work while working independently. They must also have strong IT skills (to include MS Office) along with the ability to manage time efficiently and effectively. A positive outlook and good sense of humour are essential.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly which may involve some weekend and Bank Holiday working.
