Serco have a fantastic opportunity for a People Hub Administrator to join the team at HMP Fosse Way.
In this role you will be working as part of the People Hub team, ensuring effective management of staff absence procedures in line with company policy and accurately record all data across all departments. You will ensure Senior Managers are updated daily, supporting the Contract Administrator with various absence tasks, working collaboratively and in a timely manner.
We seek a self-motivated individual with a strong background in HR and Administration, who excels in using their own initiative and is a great team player.

Responsibilities

DAY TO DAY TASKS:

Managing an updating the Absence management log in line with Serco policy
Scheduling, attending and completing minutes for the weekly Absence meeting
Compiling and sending correspondence to employees in line with AWOL policies
Managing and updating staff profiles
Working closely with the Work Force Management Team to ensure all updates are correct
Working closely with Managers to ensure actions are followed up in a timely manner
Overseeing functional mailboxes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE ROLE:

GCSEs – Maths, English
Good IT literacy – Systems, Excel, Word
The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with all grades
Collaborative team worker
Solid organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate workload based on deadlines
Sound ethical and professional standards
Confident and credible
Can demonstrate ability/experience in working within a busy environment.
Must be able to multi-task varied and demanding workloads.
