What you’ll be doing: As a Service Administrator at Hastings Deering, you will: Coordinate daily service administration – support workshop operations by managing essential administrative tasks. Manage documentation processes – raise, track, and finalise job cards, work orders, and purchase orders efficiently. Assist with scheduling – help organise jobs, allocate labour hours, and maintain service-related documentation. Ensure compliance and accuracy – maintain precise records and uphold company policies and procedures. Deliver exceptional customer service – provide responsive and professional support to internal teams and external clients. Support reporting and invoicing – assist Service Supervisors and Managers with workflow updates, reporting, and billing activities. Drive continuous improvement – contribute to initiatives that enhance service processes and team performance. What you’ll need: A successful teammate will have experience in: Bring relevant experience – demonstrate a background in service administration, workshop administration, or a similar administrative role. Leverage industry knowledge – previous experience within heavy equipment, automotive, or mechanical industries is advantageous. Show attention to detail – maintain high standards of accuracy with excellent organisational and time-management skills. Utilise strong technical skills – high level of computer literacy, ideally with exposure to SAP, Microsoft AX or similar systems. Communicate with confidence – apply clear communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach to collaboration.
