About the Role Hastings Deering is currently looking for an Administrator to join our team in Toowoomba. This is a Permanent Full Time position working Monday – Friday. As an Administrator, some of your responsibilities may include: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts, delivering exceptional customer service and support. Process credit returns, COD (Cash on Delivery) transactions, and customer credits accurately and in line with company procedures. Maintain accurate cash sales records and manage non-trade purchase orders (POs). Coordinate and manage parts backorders, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Support inventory management and parts tracking through internal systems, including Microsoft Dynamics and PCC. Monitor orders, stock levels, and transactions to ensure accurate records and efficient operations. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth business operations. Provide general administrative and operational support to maintain workflow efficiency. About You A successful teammate will have experience in: Proven administrative work history with demonstratable experience. A strong focus on teamwork and customer service delivery Desired experience in an administrative position within a fast-paced environment, efficient data entry skills and high attention to detail are essential. Ability to work with management and staff to assist in the delivering of required outcomes. Effective time management skills, along with well-developed (verbal and written) communication skills. Be able to show initiative, solve problems and make decisions.
