We work to smooth the Otago journey for 21,000 students, receiving and validating applications, maintaining student records, managing the examination process, and each year supporting thousands of bright minds as they graduate from the University of Otago. We are the Student Administration team within the Academic Division. About the role | Te mahi We currently have four full-time opportunities available within our Student Administration team, comprising: • Two permanent positions supporting our Admissions and Course Management portfolios. • Two fixed-term positions supporting our Graduation, Examinations, Course Management and Scholarships portfolios. Your tasks will depend on the specific portfolio you are supporting, but all roles play an important part in delivering an exceptional experience for students throughout their University journey. Due to the nature of these roles, the range of tasks and responsibilities is broad and may require performing duties at different workplaces or locations across campus. We are committed to ongoing training and development and encourage successful candidates to build their skills and gain exposure across a variety of Student Administration functions. Your Skills and Experience/ Kā pūkeka me kā wheako We are looking for candidates with: • Exposure to work in a busy administration environment. • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy. • A passion for customer service and delivering exceptional service to students and staff. • An ability to work independently but also collaboratively within a team environment. • Strong Microsoft office and PC skills. You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for these positions. The appointment range for this role is $63,508 to $68,185 per annum. Top of Range $73,640.
