Job title: Administrator
Location: The Heights (Worked across The Heights and neighbouring home, Downley Lodge) both based in Downley, High Wcyombe.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £12.34 per hour

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The main purpose of the role is to maintain financial and administrative systems to support the Home Manager and to provide general clerical support for the home.

PRINCIPLE TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Maintain records of all financial transactions in line with finance procedures.
  • Check finance reports against the records kept in the home and resolve any queries with the Woodley House Finance Team.
  • Maintain the client records system and vacancy reporting, through the income finance system
  • Manage the expenditure of the home by ensuring all costs are correctly reflected within the finance system.
  • Appropriate and up to date records of admissions and discharges
  • Assist with the payment, recording and banking of Residents’ monies as requested.
  • Assist the Manager in the ordering of supplies.
  • Assist the Manager in checking timesheets against rotas and recording employee absences.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Manager.
  • Ensure that day-to-day tasks and routines are carried out and that they contribute to the smooth running of the home.
  • Actively promote the home and Fremantle through clear, respectful, helpful communication with all potential customers. This includes people who use services, relatives, health and social care professionals, other officials and contractors, visitors and employees.
  • Contribute to the success of the home by respecting colleagues, participating in team meetings and communications systems.
  • Any other duties consistent with the business of The Fremantle Trust, the role, and hours of work as may reasonably be required.
