An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Administrator at The Nelson Medical Practice, Kingston Road, SW20 8DA. As an administrator you will part of a friendly team that assists and supports the Doctors and other clinicians in the delivery of a high quality service to patients and relevant organisations in an administrative role. You will be required to efficiently process requests for medical reports from patients, insurance companies and other third parties. Answer telephone calls coming into the Practice and deal with any patient queries, record and enter patient data onto our clinical system and complete tasks within that system ( EMIS WEB), complete tasks within DOCMAN an electronic system that deals with all correspondence. Check, monitor and deal with various tasks as they appear in the GP Links system. Process incoming and outgoing medical records for patients who have recently joined the Practice. General administrative duties include filing, photocopying, emailing and obtaining paper medical records from on site storage. Monitor, action and distribute queries received through the Practice email account. Registration admin also includes scanning of new registration forms, out of area, change of address and new details forms. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, on the following work pattern: Monday 12 noon - 6pm, Tuesday 8am - 2pm, Wednesday 12 noon until 6pm Thursday 8am - 2pm and Friday 12 noon - 6pm.
