We are looking for an experienced Administrator to help us with the smooth running of Ilford Corps (Church) and Malachi Place (Lifehouse) in Ilford. Working primarily from either of 2 sites in Ilford.
You will work closely with the Corp Officers (our ministers) for each location, supporting them in ensuring all areas of administration are completed to a high standard and to any associated deadlines.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience of providing administration support and managing your own time effectively
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to develop good working relationships
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel and Word, and a willingness to learn our in-house systems
  • An excellent level of English – both spoken and written - and numeracy at GCSE level or equivalent
  • The ability to work within The Salvation Army’s Christian ethos and key values: integrity; accountability; compassion; passion; boldness and respect
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise, organise and manage your own workload to meet objectives
