Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Customer Service Centre (CSC)
Location: Bristol
Shift Pattern: Variable – Must be available to work any day of the week

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Customer Service Centre (CSC). In this role, you will play a key part in enabling field operatives to work efficiently, managing queries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the site. You’ll need to be adaptable, tech-savvy, and customer-focused, with a flexible approach to shifting work patterns.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong focus on customer service and communication
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Well-organised with good planning skills
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Experience with general administration (filing, reporting, data entry)
  • Understanding of warehousing or distribution operations (preferred but not essential)
Responsibilities
  • Provide daily admin support to CSC field operatives, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and queries from internal and external customers, ensuring prompt and professional resolution in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain up-to-date records and accurate information on systems, including correspondence and customer updates.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, both locally and centrally, using system tools and email.
  • Manage general admin tasks such as filing, reporting, data entry, and system updates to support the Distribution Centre.
  • Monitor LDO orders and JRS jobs, ensuring timely updates, compliance, and error resolution – including serial number and IRIS code verification.
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment by supporting team improvement initiatives and fostering collaboration.
