We are looking to recruit experienced administrators. You must be able to contribute as part of a team but also be able to work confidently under your own initiative; working proactively to identify forthcoming priorities, organising your workload accordingly and supporting colleagues as required.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a calm and organised personality, a flexible approach and have the ability to cope with a wide range of tasks. IT skills are important and you will need to be fully competent in the full range of Microsoft products and have English GCSE Level 4 (Grade C) or above.
Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results. Our most recent Ofsted report graded us Good with Outstanding areas.
We are part of East Anglian Schools Trust (EAST) alongside Kesgrave High School, Bungay High School, Holbrook Academy, Castle East School, EAST SCITT and five primaries: Aldeburgh, Easton, Leiston, Saxmundham and Wickham Market who we work closely with. We are committed to providing excellent staff opportunities through developing and promoting our staff and offering an excellent CPD and support programme for new staff. We are also extremely pleased to have launched our own teacher training provider: EAST SCITT. This allows us to award QTS and also QTS + PGCE Programmes within both Primary and Secondary schools.
Farlingaye High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share and adhere to this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to provide satisfactory references and undertake an Enhanced Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
