ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll be behind the scenes, ensuring our clients’ homeownership dreams become a reality.

Responsibilities:

• Chatting with Client: Clients who get a mortgage buy a relationship with our team! You will have lots of communication with clients.
• Paperwork: So much paperwork! You will be preparing and reviewing loan documents. You’ll need a keen eye for detail!
• Communication: You will handle many emails and calls, coordinating with clients, real estate agents, and key players.
• License: You must be licensed within the first 90 days. The test is challenging, but we’ll make sure you’re prepared!
• Data: Keeping things organized is your entire job. We are in charge of so much information; you’ll be the person helping us handle it all.
• Compliance: Stay on top of rules and regulations!

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mortgage lending is a bonus – but not required!
• Strong organizational skills – if this isn’t you, please don’t apply.
• Communication skills – we’ve never heard of overcommunication in our industry.
• Ability to multitask and juggle more tasks (without dropping any).
• Tech-savvy – if you can’t operate a smartphone, this job isn’t for you.
• Must be ready to schedule and pass the required licensing tests – consider it your initiation.

• High Stakes, High Stress: The home-buying process is a big deal for clients, so the pressure can be intense to meet deadlines and keep up with last-minute changes.

Compensation: The base salary falls within the range of $41,000 to $62,000 annually. Let’s discuss this in more detail when we meet!

As a prospective member of our team in the role of Mortgage Home Loan Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to applicable laws, including but not limited to the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), and the Washington Mortgage Broker Practices Act. The successful candidate will be expected to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, stay informed about regulatory updates, and uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct in accordance with fair lending laws, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Housing Act, and other relevant statutes.
