ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will have the ability to coordinate and manage tasks effectively whilst being able to prioritise and organise substantial workloads. The ability to work under pressure, problem solve and maintain good working relations with others is vital.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a hospital administration position inpatient & outpatient service.
  • Leadership experience, managing a small team of people.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain good working relations with others.
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Advanced computer skills using MS Office.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role and rostering staff (desirable).
  • Previous experience with PMS such as Meditech (desirable).

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and customer focused Admission Centre Support Officer with skills to assist in the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the patient Administration Department.
In this role you will help ensure departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for maintaining relations with all internal and external customers and continually provide service enhancements to meet customer expectations.
