Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students through public speaking engagements, campus tours, and informational sessions to promote the institution’s programs and values
• Conduct interviews and counseling sessions to assess applicants’ interests, academic background, and goals, providing tailored guidance on admissions requirements
• Utilize Ellucian (a widely-used higher education management software) to manage applicant data, track communications, and streamline the admissions workflow
• Lead recruiting efforts by developing outreach strategies, participating in college fairs, and building relationships with high schools and community organizations
• Collaborate with teaching staff and academic departments to ensure applicants receive accurate information about programs and prerequisites
• Maintain detailed records of applicant interactions, decisions, and follow-up actions to ensure a smooth admissions process
• Stay informed about institutional policies, admission criteria, and industry best practices to provide transparent and consistent guidance

Skills

• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to confidently present information to diverse audiences
